Partner - Wills and Estates - Planning/Administration

Have you got the technical experience? Do you run the complex estates, keep clients steady on the worst day of their lives, and leave the juniors that you mentor and support, better lawyers than they were a year ago?

Have you still been told the only way to Partnership is to bring a book with you?

This one does not work like that!

You will step into a principal seat and take the practice somewhere.

The work is already coming through the door, so your job is not to go out and find it.

Your job is to build the practice that can handle it.

You will be manage and own the strategy across estate planning, probate and estate administration.

You will work out what the team needs to look like 12 to 18 months from now, and make the case for it.

There are no billable hours here or time recording.

The firm charges fixed fees and measures its lawyers on the quality of the work, the client outcome and conversion.

What you will need





- 7 or more years in wills and estates, across both planning and administration
- Partner, principal or special counsel level, or you have run your own practice
- High level experience with Probate, letters of administration, testamentary trusts and contested estates
- A commercially astute mind, that can read what the numbers are telling you before someone puts it in a report
- A current Australian practising certificate, and readiness to take principal authorisation in NSW
- Based on the east coast, and able to get to Sydney now and then

The firm An established Australian practice with a national wills and estates client base and a legal team growing quickly. Fixed fee model, solid systems, and a leadership team genuinely interested in doing this differently.

$200,k to $250k basic depending on experience level
