We are a group of cafes in Ipswich that have grown over the last 5 years. These cafes are built on our own signature coffee brand, personal service, and quality food offerings. The Old Butcher Shop Cafe in Sadliers Crossing is our newest venue, operating 7days a week, 6:30am - 2pm.

We are looking for a chef with cafe experience, who wants to be a part of our rapid growth. Working with the Head Chef, you will be able to work through busy service periods and prep days. This is a adaptable position but weekends are a must. There is the option for a 3,4 or 5 day week - basically we are negotiable for the right person who will commit to weekends. This position would suit a newly qualified chef who is looking for a new challenge.

We have fantastic customers who come to us for the consistency and quality of our food.

Key Responsibilities:

- Contribute creative ideas for menu items and specials

- Accommodate alternative dietary requirements

- Be a team player who communicates with colleagues respectfully





- Check stock levels and rotate stock appropriately

- Minimise waste

- Maintain a safe food environment, helping to meet food licensing regulations

Key Requirements:

- You have a history of stable employment. Showing you have held positions for more than 2 years at a time is important to us.

- You have experience in modern cafe food.

- You are available to work 6:30am - 2:30pm

- You are someone who continues to learn and evolve as a chef

- You are a team player

- You enjoy having weekdays off
