Plant Operator / Forkllift Drivers Campbellfield

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Plant Operators /Labourer to join a busy galvanizing facility based in Campbellfield. This is a hands-on role working within the production plant, operating machinery and assisting with the galvanizing process.

Forklift operation makes up only 5-10% of the role, with the majority of your time spent on plant operations and production duties.

- $34 - $35 an hour

- Monday to Friday roster

- 6 + hour shifts

- Optional overtime and Saturday work available

Key Responsibilities

- Operating plant and production equipment safely and efficiently

- Assisting with the galvanizing process from start to finish

- Loading and unloading steel products onto production lines and processing equipment

- Monitoring machinery and ensuring production targets are met





- Conducting quality inspections of finished products

- Performing general labouring and manual handling duties throughout the plant

- Operating a forklift for approximately 5-10% of the role to move materials and finished products

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

- Following all workplace health and safety procedures

- Working collaboratively with the production team to ensure smooth daily operations

About You

- Previous experience operating machinery or working within a manufacturing, production, processing or industrial workplace

- Current LF Forklift Licence is highly regarded, but forklift duties make up only a small portion of the role

- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual handling tasks throughout the shift

- Strong awareness of workplace health and safety

- Reliable, punctual and committed to long-term employment

- Available to commence immediately

- No planned holidays or extended commitments in the near future

- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work as part of a team

- Available to work overtime and Saturdays when required
