We are seeking a Retail & Customer Support Assistant to join our team in Oakleigh, VIC. This is a part-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of our retail operations whilst providing exceptional customer service. As a Retail & Customer Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming shopping experience for our customers and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our store. Our store is generally calm rather than rapid-paced making it an ideal position for someone who enjoys staying organised and working independently. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about customer service and enjoy working in a dynamic retail environment.

Key responsibilities

Greeting customers warmly and providing friendly, knowledgeable assistance as they browse and shop

Answering customer enquiries about products, pricing and availability with professionalism and enthusiasm

Maintaining the store's visual presentation by keeping shelves well-stocked, organised and attractively displayed

Assisting with inventory management, including stock takes and receiving new deliveries

Supporting the store team to create an inviting atmosphere that encourages customer loyalty

Handling customer complaints and concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary

Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic store environment at all times

Previous retail or customer service experience is valued but not essential for enthusiastic candidates

Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required
