For over 30 years, we have provided high-quality education and care for children from birth to six years of age. Our unique natural setting, including our Bush Kinder program, supports children's curiosity, exploration, and connection with the environment.

The Role
As a Diploma Qualified Educator at Meruka, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality education and care in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
You will build solid relationships with children and families, contribute to meaningful learning experiences, support children's wellbeing and development, and help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
About You
You are a passionate early childhood professional who:
Is committed to child safety and children's rights.
Builds warm and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
Demonstrates professionalism, initiative, and a commitment to ongoing learning.
Is passionate about providing high-quality, child-centred education and care.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent approved qualification).
Significant experience in early childhood education and care.
Current Victorian Working with Children Check (or VIT registration where applicable).
Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma qualifications.
Current Child Protection/Mandatory Reporting training.
Foundations of Child Safety certification.
Food Safety certification.
Understanding of the EYLF, VEYLDF, NQS, and Victorian Child Safe Standards.
Experience in early childhood education and care, including planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
Excellent communication skills and the right to work in Australia.
