Elephant Ed are looking for charismatic, energetic, and passionate Workshop Facilitators to join our growing team.
Elephant Ed takes a youth-centred delivery model, tackling the big issues in a fun and accessible way. At the heart of this role, is the ability to adapt to diverse classroom environments, create safe spaces, connect authentically with young people, and have fun whilst doing so!

A bit about us
Since 2015, Elephant Ed has been transforming the way sex education is taught across Australia. We work with students, universities, educators, parents and community groups to facilitate interactive, informative and inclusive sex education workshops.
Our workshops are evidence based, comprehensive and embraces all young people, regardless of their gender, sexuality or background.
Core responsibilities
- Facilitate interactive workshops through open discussion, engaging activities and stimulated learning
- Travel throughout metro and regional NSW to deliver workshops in schools, universities and community groups
- Opportunities to travel interstate where relevant
- Partake in ongoing training and professional development
- Represent Elephant Ed's core values: Inclusivity, Growth, Education and Passion on a daily basis
You are
- Confident in public speaking
- Comfortable talking about relationships and sexual activity in an educational way
- Passionate about young people having access to a holistic sex education
- A person who loves working with diverse groups
- Passionate about sexual violence prevention
- Aware of internal biases and privilege, with demonstrated ability to be culturally sensitive and inclusive
Key selection criteria
- 18+ years old
- Current Australian drivers' license and daily access to a car
- Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Comfortable public speaking and ability to facilitate to large groups
- Passion for working directly with young people and students
- Confident, energetic and charismatic
- Experience working with diverse groups across gender, sexuality, race and ability (desired)
Key dates
- Application outcome: Monday 17th August
- Interviews: Thursday 20th August
- Interview outcome: Friday 21st August
- Training: Monday 31st August - Friday 4th September
