Staycool is hiring for electrical installation, fault finding, and commissioning across heating and cooling systems, working on new homes with some of Victoria's largest volume builders. No HVAC background needed, we'll get you up to speed.

Staycool has been designing and installing custom heating and cooling systems for current homes across Melbourne since 1983. We're family-owned, with a team of 30 heating and cooling specialists and over 50,000 completed jobs. We work directly with Victoria's largest volume builders, including Glenvill, Simonds, Luxton, and JG King, across projects from Geelong to Bairnsdale and up through Kilmore, Benalla, and Shepparton. Head office is in Hallam.

What You'll Do

Electrical Installation & HVAC Systems

Carry out electrical installation, wiring, and commissioning of HVAC systems including split systems, ducted units, gas heating, VRF and evaporative cooling. Ensure all electrical components are installed to a high standard and in line with regulations.

Fault Finding & Commissioning

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in HVAC systems on-site. Work closely with builders and supervisors to ensure systems are fully operational,



compliant, and optimised for performance.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure all work meets Australian electrical standards, codes, and safety regulations. Maintain a strong focus on safe work practices and quality assurance across every installation.

Who You Are

A fully licensed A Grade Electrician (Victoria) with a current electrical licence

HVAC experience is a bonus but not a requirement

Comfortable reading construction plans

Experience on residential construction sites

Reliable and detail-oriented, with pride in your workmanship

Strong communicator, comfortable working with builders, supervisors, and in a team

Open to occasional paid overnight stays for out-of-metro jobs
