Vertex Power & Process is seeking a qualified Electrician ready to grow into a Powerline Worker role as part of our Power Distribution Projects team. You’ll support construction and maintenance across high-voltage infrastructure including substations, overhead lines, and underground systems across NSW, VIC, and SA.

Responsibilities

- Perform maintenance, installation, and diagnostics on high-voltage equipment
- Contribute to power distribution system construction and commissioning
- Read and interpret construction plans and schematics
- Operate plant and equipment on project sites
- Work safely, meet project deadlines, and support continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

- Cert III in ESI–Distribution Overhead.
- ElevatedWork Platforms (EWP).




- Dogging HRW Licence.
- CraneLicenceC2 Level or above.
- Willingness to travel regionally and work in remote locations
- Experience in the power distribution or utility sector highly regarded
- Construction Card
- Excellent hourly rate + penalties
- Full-time role under the Vertex Enterprise Agreement
- Monday to Friday with regular overtime opportunities
- Structured onboarding and training for career progression
