About You

You will be the face of the Otis brand and responsible for installing Lifts, Escalators, and Travellators in compliance with relevant codes and Otis specifications and procedures.

- Reports to the Project Manager
- This role falls under the local EBA, and your hourly rates are determined by your classification.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation of Recent Equipment and Modernisation lifts and working to the highest safety and environmental standards while ensuring service targets are met.
- Ensure timely completion of defects identified during service / handing over inspection in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and materials properly and safeguard such property.
- Perform work in accordance with the relevant lift industry codes and standards.
- Comply with the company's Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures, including reporting any conditions that may impact the environment or any employee.
- Maintain and work on the Quality System.
- Attend customer handing over inspection/service inspections on installation and modernization projects.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and help facilitate continuous improvement to satisfy the customers of your processes.

What you will need to be successful





- Experience in Adjustment / Commissioning work would be beneficial.
- Working with heights, Basic Rigging and hold a valid driver’s license.
- Hold full working rights in Australia.
- Has relevant Lift experience and proven ability to work safely as part of a team or independently, depending on requirements.
- Enjoys communicating with various levels of stakeholders and working closely with others in the field.
- Solutions-oriented, independent, and well organized.
- Willing to travel in & out of the region and able to work unsupervised.
- Has the ability to perform knowledge transfer on information and skills through training.
- Able to plan and prioritize tasks and complete them in a timely manner.
