About Your New Role
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll work both in our workshop, based in Sunshine West, and on customer sites throughout Melbourne and surrounding suburbs,
carrying out hydraulic servicing and repairs, hose and fitting repairs, installations, maintenance and fault-finding on a wide range of industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Hydraulic fault finding, repairs and servicing
- Hydraulic hose, tube and pipe installation and replacement
- Installation and maintenance of hydraulic, lubrication, refueling and fire suppression systems
- Hydraulic fault finding, repairs and servicing
- Hydraulic hose, tube and pipe installation and replacement
- Tube bending, machining and fabrication activities
- Site-based breakdown and maintenance support
- Maintaining accurate job records and documentation
- Managing van stock and ensuring equipment is maintained and organised
- Delivering exceptional customer service and technical support
- Identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships and secure additional work opportunities
About You
You are mechanically minded, customer-facing and take pride in delivering quality workmanship.
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Solid mechanical fitting or hydraulic industry experience
- Hydraulic hose and fittings experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- A current driver's licence
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Basic computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel
Additionally, You Will Have
The following will be highly regarded:
- Trade qualification or working towards a trade certification
- Previous hydraulic service and repair experience
- Experience with lubrication systems
- Experience with Fire Suppression
- Forklift Licence
- Working at Heights
- EWP Licence
- Dogging or Rigging tickets
- Experience with quoting and job management systems
- Experience working within industrial, mining or heavy equipment environments
