We are currently seeking an experienced Data/Business Analyst to join our client's team based in Laverton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an analytical professional who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful business insights in a quick-paced environment.

About the Role

As a Data/Business Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to support business operations and decision-making. Working closely with key stakeholders, you'll help drive data accuracy, reporting, and business performance through insightful analysis and visualisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, validate, and process structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualisations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Write and optimise SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting
- Support forecasting, quantitative analysis, and performance reporting
- Ensure data integrity through quality assurance and validation processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
- Document data processes, methodologies, and analytical findings

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar ICT/Data role
- Strong SQL skills with experience extracting, transforming, and manipulating data
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualisation tools
- Solid understanding of data quality, validation, and governance principles
- Experience supporting forecasting, reporting,



and quantitative analysis
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to stakeholders
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Previous experience within financial services or an investment environment will be highly regarded

What's on Offer

- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- 2-3 month ongoing contract with the potential to be extended
