The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Surface Facilities Electrical Supervisor to join our Maintenance in Broken Hill.

You will lead a team of tradespeople and apprentices, ensuring maintenance activities are executed safely, efficiently and in alignment with the site production plan.

You will play a key role in driving asset reliability, reducing unplanned downtime and fostering a strong safety and performance culture across surface facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise preventative and corrective maintenance across surface facilities and concentrator assets
- Ensure plant reliability and availability targets are achieved
- Plan,



schedule and execute maintenance activities in line with production requirements
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in maintenance and asset performance
- Provide strong field‑based leadership and supervision of the maintenance team
- Manage contractors to ensure safety, quality and productivity standards are met
- Monitor and control maintenance costs and eliminate non‑value‑adding work
- Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental and statutory obligations
- Proactively identify and elevate risks to plant performance or reliabilityContribute to incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented

What We’re Looking For

Mandatory Requirements:

- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in mining or heavy industry
- Experience supervising maintenance teams and contractors
- Experience with CMMS systems (Pronto or similar)

Highly Regarded:

- Certificate III in Leadership or equivalent
- Strong safety leadership and risk management capability
- Proven ability to drive maintenance discipline and reliability improvements
- Experience supporting concentrator or processing plant operations
