About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our People & Culture team in a role focused on talent acquisition, strategic headhunting, employer branding and building long-term relationships with exceptional people.
Working closely with the Head of People & Culture, you'll partner with leaders across the business to recruit high-performing professionals while proactively identifying and approaching top talent in the market. This is a highly relationship-driven role where success comes from building strong networks, maintaining talent pipelines and engaging candidates long before opportunities arise.
Whether you come from recruitment, real estate or a people-focused background, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, uncovering talent and making a genuine impact on the growth of the business.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position, primarily based in our Double Bay office, with Mondays (and potentially Tuesdays) spent in our Cronulla office to support the wider business. Occasional travel to other Highland offices may also be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across Highland Group.
- Proactively headhunt and engage high-performing talent through market mapping, networking and relationship building.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify high-performing agents and industry professionals.
- Write and advertise job opportunities across multiple platforms.
- Screen applications, conduct interviews, reference checks and police checks.
- Coordinate interviews and provide an outstanding candidate experience.
- Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Promote Highland's employer brand and culture within the market.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and reporting.
- Attend weekly People & Culture meetings and contribute to ongoing talent initiatives.
About You To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or real estate.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine passion for people and helping others succeed.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Confidence engaging with candidates over the phone and face-to-face.
- A proactive, resilient and positive attitude.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced environment.
