The Role
We're looking for a People & Culture Advisor to join our team and partner with leaders across a national workforce. In this role, you'll provide expert advice on workplace matters, manage complex employee relations cases, support organisational change, and help create a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
About the Role As a trusted advisor, you will:
- Provide timely HR advice and support to leaders and employees.
- Manage end-to-end employee relations matters including performance, conduct, grievances, investigations and workplace conflict.
- Interpret and apply employment legislation, Contemporary Awards, Enterprise Agreements and company policies.
- Coach leaders on performance management,
employee relations and compliance obligations.
- Support organisational change activities including restructures, consultations and workforce transitions.
- Assist with workers compensation, return-to-work and wellbeing matters.
- Coordinate employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, probation reviews, employment changes and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
- Contribute to people initiatives, process improvements and workforce planning activities.
- Analyse people data and trends to support informed business decisions.
About You You'll be a confident and proactive People & Culture professional who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships and navigating complex workplace matters.
You will bring
- Experience in a Human Resources Advisor, People & Culture Advisor, Employee Relations Advisor, or similar role.
- Strong employee relations and industrial relations experience, including managing cases end-to-end.
- Knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Fair Work requirements, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Experience conducting workplace investigations and preparing formal documentation.
- Strong stakeholder management and coaching skills.
- Experience supporting organisational change and consultation processes.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, Psychology or a related discipline.
- AHRI certification or similar professional accreditation will be highly regarded.
