We are growing and are looking for experienced Psychologists, Counsellors, and Social Workers to join our Wellbeing team on a flexible contract basis.

About the Opportunity

As a People Support Services Practitioner, you will provide confidential, short-term psychological support to employees and their immediate family members, helping them navigate personal and workplace challenges before they become barriers to wellbeing.

Working both face-to-face and via telehealth, you will have the opportunity to deliver a varied and rewarding range of services, including:

- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselling
- Short-term counselling and psychological interventions
- Workplace coaching and behavioural support.
- Critical incident response and psychological first aid
- Conflict resolution and facilitated workplace discussions.
- Psychological assessments (where applicable)
- Mental health and wellbeing education for workplaces
- Referral and care coordination for clients requiring ongoing support.

This is a flexible contract position servicing Launceston and Northern Tasmania, reporting to the Operations Manager.

About You

You are an experienced practitioner who values connection, professionalism, and evidence-based practice. You enjoy working autonomously while being part of a collaborative and supportive team,



and you are confident building trusted relationships with both individuals and organisational clients.

You will bring

- A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or Counselling
- Current registration or membership with AHPRA, AASW, ACA, or PACFA
- At least three years' experience providing short-term counselling, ideally within EAP, workplace mental health, or community mental health services.
- A strong understanding of workplace wellbeing, organisational dynamics, and factors influencing employee performance.
- Experience applying trauma-informed approaches in clinical practice.
- Experience supporting workplace interventions, including conflict resolution, coaching, or facilitated discussions.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, organisational, and time management skills
- A current National Police Check
- A Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Check
