About the Opportunity
As Performance Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading the strategic direction, planning and delivery of performance marketing across a portfolio of clients. Working collaboratively across media, strategy, technology and creative teams, you will drive measurable business outcomes while building robust client relationships and leading a high-performing team.

What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Head of Performance, you will:
- Lead the strategic planning and implementation of integrated performance marketing campaigns across Search, Social and other digital channels.
- Develop data-led digital strategies, forecasting and channel recommendations aligned to client business objectives.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor and primary escalation point.
- Drive innovative media solutions that maximise performance across the digital channel mix.
- Analyse campaign performance and deliver meaningful insights, recommendations and optimisation strategies.
- Recommend digital attribution models and channel mix strategies based on performance data and commercial outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with media planning, trading, creative, technology and analytics teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Identify opportunities to grow client investment, expand services and contribute to agency growth initiatives.
- Lead and contribute to new business opportunities and agency pitches.
- Drive best practice, innovation and continuous improvement across the Performance team.
Team Leadership As a Performance Director, you'll also play an important leadership role by:
- Coaching, mentoring and developing Performance Managers and Executives.
- Creating a positive,
collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Supporting career development through regular coaching, feedback and performance conversations.
- Managing team resources to ensure workloads are balanced and client expectations are exceeded.
- Promoting collaboration across departments to deliver the best outcomes for clients.
- Championing innovation, knowledge sharing and continuous learning across the team.
About You You'll be an experienced performance marketing leader who enjoys solving complex client challenges and inspiring others to do their best work.
You'll bring:
- 4+ years' experience in digital performance marketing within an agency environment.
- Strong expertise across Paid Search, Paid Social and broader digital media channels.
- Advanced experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, SA360 and Meta Business Manager.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
- Experience developing multi-channel digital strategies, forecasting and media planning.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation and project management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- A passion for innovation and delivering measurable business outcomes.
