The Opportunity The Pharmacy
Technician reports to the Director of Pharmacy. In this role, the successful candidate will play a pivotal part in ensuring optimal medication supply to the wards. Their responsibilities will encompass a spectrum of tasks, from dispensing inpatient, discharge, and outpatient medications to ward imprest duties.
They will actively engage in quality improvement activities, striving to enhance processes for increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Through consistent inventory management practices, they will maintain the accuracy of pharmaceutical stock levels, ensuring its usability within the pharmacy.
The Pharmacy
Technician will work closely with Pharmacists, Pharmacy support staff, other members of the multidisciplinary team and patients.
