About the role

Ventia have a contract supporting the maintenance of the Millmerran Power Station and Skout Solutions are seeking 6 skilled TA's with Rigging and/or Scaffolding experience to assist for 8 weeks (10.5 hrs work per day) on a Shutdown of the Millmerran Power Station starting 14th September. You will work 5-6 days per week across atleast 52.5 hours per week with an additional Weekly rural allowance paid of $131.25 paid per Week if driving in and out of the power station. NB. Toowoomba Accommodation and transportation can be offered from Toowoomba if necessary, instead.

Duties include but are not limited to:

On top of rigging and/or scaffolding duties required during the outage you will-

- Assist Mechanical trades with Removal and replacement of spools, rollers, wear plates.
- Work with other TAs and tradesmen to achieve plant performance across various maintenance jobs during the outage;

What's required/preferred:

- Atleast 1 year experience either Rigging or Scaffolding and relevant tickets
- Mechanical Trade assistance experience is preferred.
- Working at heights are essential and confined spaces are preferred
- A respirator fit test will be conducted onsite- successful applicants must be clean shaven.
- A commitment to OH&S; practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Current drivers licence and white card
