About the role

An exciting opportunity awaits to join Trinity College Pathways School as a Counsellor and play a meaningful role in supporting the wellbeing, safety and success of international students preparing for university study. In this full time, ongoing role, you will provide short-term, solutions-focused counselling, risk assessment, referral support and wellbeing education within a collaborative school-based wellbeing team. This is an opportunity to work in a diverse, values-driven educational community where your professional judgement, cultural responsiveness and commitment to early intervention will help students build resilience, access appropriate support and thrive during an important stage of their educational journey.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in counselling,



psychology, mental health or a related discipline, with membership (or eligibility for membership) of PACFA, AHPRA or an equivalent professional body. You will be an experienced and compassionate practitioner with strong interpersonal skills, sound professional judgement and the ability to build trusted relationships with students and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds. You will be committed to delivering high-quality wellbeing support that contributes to a positive and inclusive student experience.
