Nucleus Network is expanding, and we are inviting applications from passionate Clinical Operations professionals to help shape and launch our brand-new, purpose-built clinical trials site at the North Shore Health Hub in St Leonards, Sydney.

This is a rare greenfield opportunity to join a site from its earliest days - contributing to how it operates, grows, and evolves.

About the role

Screening Assistants play a vital role in supporting the delivery of clinical trials by ensuring participants are screened and assessed in a timely, effective, and professional manner. Working within the Screening team, you will coordinate and support screening and outpatient visits in line with study protocols, contributing to both participant experience and study outcomes. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Key responsibilities

Co-ordinatingscreeningappointments and performing allscreeningand on-study/outpatient assessments

Liaising with the Study Coordinator to organise documentation and ensure screeningblood collection kits are ready for appointments

Liaising with all relevant departments to ensure minimal waiting times for participants

Performing clinical procedures/assessments

Quality Control strategies

Ensure own Learning and Development Key Performance Indicators are met and upheld

Requirements

Can commit to a rotating roster, shifts ranging frombetween 0630-1930

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a greenfield site, where cross-skilling across functions is an integral requirement as the site establishes and ramps up.

Attained a tertiary health care or science-related degree or have a working background in a health field (i.e. phlebotomist, health screening personnel)

Ability to adhere to relevant documentation standards

Experience in venepuncture(desired)

Good working knowledge of clinical research (desired)

Outstanding time management skills and attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively

A positive and fun personality. We work hard but we like a laugh and love working with other staff who show initiative and find solutions!
