What you'll do
- Engage with existing and prospective legal clients to pinpoint their workflow challenges and suggest tailored Harvey solutions.
- Convert client feedback and insights regarding legal workflows into actionable product development guidelines.
- Collaborate with teams across product, engineering, sales, and marketing to shape and influence Harvey's product strategy.
- Create and enhance product demonstrations and use cases that accurately represent the operations of legal teams.
- Present new product features to clients in a personalized and engaging manner.
- Collect competitive insights and market intelligence relevant to the legal technology landscape in the APAC region.
- Strengthen Harvey's standing in the APAC market as a trusted AI partner for the legal sector.
- Participate in workshops and training sessions to continuously improve your understanding of both legal processes and technological advancements.
- Monitor industry trends and changes in legal regulations to ensure that Harvey's solutions remain relevant and effective.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders in the legal industry to promote collaboration and innovation.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials that effectively communicate the value of Harvey's offerings to the legal community.
Requirements
- Candidates must be located in Sydney and possess the legal right to work in Australia.
- An Australian practicing certificate or an equivalent qualification from a common-law jurisdiction is essential.
- A minimum of three years of experience as a qualified lawyer in a prestigious law firm (such as those recognized in Band 1 Chambers or the AFR Top 10) or in an in-house legal role, with a focus on complex legal workflows.
- Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and provide well-considered recommendations.
- Strong communication skills that allow for effective interaction across legal, product, and sales domains.
- A confident executive presence and the ability to build relationships, particularly with senior legal professionals.
Nice to have
- Experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or business development within law firms, particularly in developing tailored solutions.
- Familiarity with legal technology trends and innovations.
- Previous involvement in cross-functional teams that include product development and marketing.
