In this hands-on role, you will investigate freight enquiries, physically locate freight within the depot and resolve delivery issues efficiently. You will manage cases through Salesforce and work closely with operational teams to achieve positive customer outcomes.
Main duties & Responsibilities
- Locate and manage freight within the depot
- Investigate damaged, unidentified, redirected and undelivered freight
- Coordinate customer depot collections and freight redeliveries
- Record accurate case updates and outcomes in Salesforce
- Work with internal teams and other depots to resolve freight enquiries
- Meet agreed service levels and aim to resolve cases within 24 hours
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to process improvements
About you
- Previous experience within freight, logistics or depot operations
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Confident using computer systems; Salesforce experience is highly regarded
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to priorities tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of freight scanning processes and Dangerous Goods awareness is desirable
