Piling Rig Operator – Civil Construction

? Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 + Super

About the Company A highly regarded civil contractor is seeking an experienced Piling Rig Operator to join its growing team. With a strong reputation across Sydney, the company specialises in early works, ground engineering and civil construction, delivering projects for leading Tier 1 and Tier 2 builders.

Projects include

- Basement excavation
- Bulk excavation
- Piling
- Shotcrete
- Shoring & retention systems
- Anchoring
- General civil construction

Project locations are across Sydney metropolitan areas including Westmead, Merrylands, Castle Hill, Bondi, Strathfield and surrounding suburbs.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate bored and CFA piling rigs safely and efficiently on active construction sites.
- Set up and position piling equipment in accordance with project requirements.
- Drill piles to specified depths, diameters, and tolerances.
- Work closely with engineers, surveyors, supervisors, and ground crews to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections, maintenance checks, and basic servicing of piling equipment.
- Assist with reinforcement cage installation, concrete pours, and associated piling operations.
- Maintain a safe, clean,



and organised work environment in accordance with company WHS procedures.
- Ensure works are completed in line with project specifications, quality standards, and construction programmes.

About You

- Proven experience operating bored and/or CFA piling rigs on residential, commercial, or civil construction projects.
- Strong understanding of piling techniques, set-out procedures, and site safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and site instructions.
- Current White Card.
- Relevant plant operation, piling, or high-risk work licences/tickets.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively within a team.
