DWS is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for a Platform Architect to work with one of our valued clients on a major enterprise platform initiative. This organisation has multiple programs underway, all building solutions across Microsoft Azure, M365 and D365 technology stacks.
You will play a key role in establishing and shaping a scalable, secure, and reusable platform capability that underpins multiple digital transformation programs. This role focuses on defining architecture patterns, setting standards, and providing leadership across platform and application teams to ensure consistency and long-term sustainability.

Salary : Up to $1200/day (ACN) / Up to $250K package (inc super)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the definition and evolution of enterprise platform architecture, patterns, and standards
- Provide architectural oversight across multiple application and platform teams
- Establish reusable components, services, and integration approaches across the platform
- Develop solution options and architecture documentation for key decision points
- Drive alignment to security, performance, availability, and operational requirements
- Contribute to Architecture Review Board governance and submissions
- Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams to guide platform adoption
- Review designs, technical specifications, and vendor deliverables for alignment to standards
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong background in platform and solution architecture within enterprise environments
- Deep expertise across Microsoft technologies including Azure, M365, D365, and Power Platform
- Significant experience designing and implementing cloud-based platform architectures
- Strong knowledge of API design, including RESTful services and integration patterns
- Experience with Azure Integration Services and serverless platform capabilities
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform)
- Experience working within secure or highly regulated environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including presentation at senior levels
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs and options
