As part of our continued growth, we are now focused on expanding our Small Works division, creating an opportunity for an experienced leader to take ownership and help shape the future of this part of the business.

You'll step into an established business with an existing client base, active work already being delivered, robust project relationships, operational support, and a healthy forward pipeline of work. What we're looking for is the right person to take that existing foundation and turn it into a highly structured, scalable, and successful division.

You'll have the opportunity to:

What You Will Be Responsible For

- Taking ownership of Sloane's existing small works and maintenance relationships and bringing structure to how that work is tracked and won
- Building new relationships across strata and body corporate management,



commercial facilities management, and residential and infrastructure maintenance clients
- Developing a pricing model for call-outs, hourly rates, materials margin, and contract or retainer work
- Quoting and tendering all small works and maintenance opportunities, scoped and priced accurately
- Managing day-to-day scheduling and delivery for a dedicated plumber and apprentice, coordinated carefully around the wider business's project commitments
- Owning the P&L; performance of the division, including job-level margin and overall profitability
- Building the case for further crew as the division grows, and leading recruitment when approved
- Reporting to the Managing Director on a regular cycle covering pipeline, pricing, delivery, and commercial performance

What We Are Looking For

- A trade background in plumbing, with a current licence, sufficient to earn credibility
- Demonstrated experience winning and pricing maintenance, small works, or service-based trade work
- Strong commercial instincts and comfort owning pricing and margin outcomes
- A genuine business development mindset. This role is about creating opportunities, not waiting for them
- The ability to manage people and competing priorities without losing sight of the commercial result

- High autonomy and judgement. You will be trusted to run this division and expected to act like it
