About the role

We are seeking a Pool Technician to join our team on a casual basis in Hervey Bay, QLD 4655. As a Pool Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing residential and commercial swimming pools throughout the Fraser Coast region. This position offers flexibility whilst providing essential support to our customers in keeping their pools in optimal condition.

You will be responsible for diagnosing pool problems, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring water chemistry is balanced to protect the health and safety of pool users.

What you'll be doing

- Performing routine pool maintenance including cleaning, filtration system checks and equipment inspections
- Testing and balancing pool water chemistry to ensure safe and healthy swimming conditions
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting pool equipment issues and mechanical problems
- Repairing or replacing faulty pool equipment such as pumps, filters and chlorinators
- Providing excellent customer service and advice on pool care and maintenance
- Maintaining detailed records of service visits and customer information
- Adhering to health,



safety and environmental regulations whilst on customer properties
- Transporting equipment and materials to customer locations safely and efficiently

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Pool Technician or in a similar pool maintenance role is preferred
- Sound knowledge of pool chemistry, equipment and water treatment systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to obtain a police check
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule in a casual capacity
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Pool certification or relevant qualifications (preferred although not essential)
