We are creating a recruitment pool for future permanent, fixed-term, casual, or temporary roles in our not-for-profit community services organisation. Applicants should have suitable skills and values for various community services positions, including management, administration, funding support, HR, case management, social work, counselling, family violence support, community programs, and early intervention.

We offer professional development and ongoing learning to help successful candidates build their skills and confidence. ‍ About The Pool Pool recruitment means that a number of applicants may be assessed as suitable to be considered for future permanent, fixed-term, casual or temporary vacancies that are similar to the roles advertised. Being appointed to the pool does not guarantee employment. Suitable applicants may be offered a position if and when a suitable vacancy arises.

The pool will generally operate for a period of 12 months from the date applicants are first placed into the pool, unless otherwise stated in the advertisement. Once the pool expires, applicants who have not been appointed to a position may need to re-apply for future vacancies. All applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application at the conclusion of the recruitment process.

Appointment from the pool is not automatic and will depend on organisational needs, available funding, role requirements, suitability, availability and satisfactory completion of any required checks. ‍ Depending On The Role, Duties May Include Work Across Management, supervision and service coordination





Administration, records management and office support

Human resources, recruitment and workforce administration

Funding, grants, reporting and partnership development

Case management, client assessment, referrals and advocacy

Social work, crisis response and client-centred support

Alcohol and other drug counselling and referral support

Family and domestic violence scoping, safety planning and referral pathways

Prevention, early intervention and community education All roles require confidentiality, professional boundaries, accurate record keeping, safe work practices, and participation in supervision, training and professional development. ‍ We Are Looking For Applicants Who Demonstrate Empathy, professionalism and respect

Solid communication and interpersonal skills A client-centred, culturally safe and trauma-informed approach

Ability to remain calm in stressful or crisis situations

Good judgement, initiative and problem-solving skills

Awareness of boundaries, confidentiality, safety and self-care
