Fitweld Engineering is looking for a full time Steel Welder/Fabricator/Boilermaker to join our team in Pakenham, VIC. This role is integral to the success of our engineering projects and requires strong fabrication and welding skills. We also offer multiple career growth opportunities, with pathways to roles such as Team Leader, Workshop Supervisor, and other senior positions as you develop your skills and experience.

What you'll be doing

- Read and interpret shop drawings
- Fabrication of structural steel
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
- Working with forklifts & access equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

What we're looking for

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a steel fabricator/welder
- Strong understanding of shop drawings




- Proficient in the use of welding equipment and other tools required to fabricate
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Problem-solving and communication skills to work effectively towards project completion
- Apprentices are encouraged to apply as well.
