They are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Accounts Officer with extensive full function AP & AR knowledge. If you have some Payroll hands on experience, even better but not essential! Join a warm and friendly finance team where you will report directly to the Finance Manager and be able to work your flexible hours in a professional and cohesive environment. For your experience you will be offered a great salary of $85,000 + Super (pro rata) based on 3 full days of work. The role has the scope to grow to 4 days in the future if the successful applicant wanted.
THE ROLE:
- Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Expertise: Proven experience managing end-to-end accounts receivable and payable functions, including invoice processing, collections, payments, and supplier management.
- Perform accurate daily bank reconciliations ensuring data integrity and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Provide support to the finance team during the audit period
- Competency in using accounting software and corporate debit card systems
- Ability to document financial processes clearly and maintaining up-to-date procedural manuals
- Proficiency with Excel for reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis.
To be considered you will have/be able to:
- Minimum 3-4 years experience within an Accounts Officer role (Full function AP & AR)
- Must be able to commit to working in the office, this is NOT a hybrid role.
- Experience with ERP systems and strong MS Excel skills
- Robust communication skills (written & verbal)
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative and drive to complete tasks independently, proactively seeks solutions, and maintains focus and productivity without constant supervision
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, remain calm and in control under pressure
- Consistently dependable with a strong sense of responsibility for accuracy and meeting deadlines.
