Your New Role
- Coordinate transport services to ensure our client’s requirements are met
- Liaise with the workshop in relation to service and maintenance requirements
- Ensure drivers complete Daily Inspection Reports before commencing work
- Manage the computerised run sheet program to ensure all services are up to date
- Monitor driver and equipment cleanliness and presentation
- Ensure drivers have been deemed competent and correctly licensed for the operation of relevant equipment
Your Skills And Experience
- Knowledge of fatigue management and transport regulations for the operation of heavy vehicles
- Effective computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent customer service and organisation skills
- Transportation Background: Extensive experience in the transportation industry, with a deep understanding of daily logistics route scheduling.
- Proven ability in scheduling of fleet servicing requirements to maintain operational standards of equipment.
- Risk Management: Proven ability to identify and mitigate potential transportation risks.
- Knowledge and understanding of NHVAS processes and maintaining compliance with those standards.
- Safety Management: Proven track record in maintaining a strong safety culture and minimising accidents or incidents. Meeting all reporting & escalation requirements.
- Proficiency in collaborating across different departments and functions within an organisation. Building effective teams & improving work outcomes.
