With a strong and growing client base, we’re looking for an experienced Plumber to take on a hands-on Team Leader role, guiding and mentoring our field team while staying on the tools.

Lead Maintenance Plumber – Team Leader

With a strong and growing client base, we’re looking for an experienced Plumber to take on a hands-on Team Leader role, guiding and mentoring our field team while staying on the tools.

About the role

You’ll independently deliver plumbing work across commercial maintenance, semi-commercial, hospital and specialised environments, and be the person the team turns to when tricky issues arise.

This is not an office-based role – you’ll be on site, leading by example through your workmanship, decision-making and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver plumbing projects,



maintenance and service work to a high standard

- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex plumbing issues on site

- Rectify defects and provide solutions for technically challenging jobs

- Provide day-to-day leadership, mentoring and support to plumbers and apprentices

- Ensure work complies with regulations, safety requirements and company quality standards

- Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, facility managers and other stakeholders

- Assist with job planning, in office coordination and workflow management

- Maintain accurate documentation and strong safety and compliance practices

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a capable plumber who is confident working independently, leads by example and takes ownership of challenging projects.

We’re ideally looking for someone located within approximately 30–60 minutes of Richmond to support responsive service to our clients.

You will have:

- Trade qualification as a plumber and relevant registrations/licences

- Solid experience in commercial, maintenance, hospital or specialised plumbing environments

- Strong technical knowledge and well‑developed fault‑finding skills

- Experience running jobs from start to finish

- Experience supervising, guiding or mentoring plumbers and apprentices

- Excellent communication and client relationship skills

- High standards of workmanship, professionalism and accountability

- A strong commitment to safety, compliance and quality

- A current driver’s licence and the right to work in Australia
