Senior Financial Accountant (417's Encouraged)

We are seeking a high-performing Senior Financial Accountant to join a dynamic and fast-paced finance team, playing a key role in financial control, reporting, and analysis.

4 - 6 month FTC - 417 visa holders encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities

- Support a strong financial control environment and reporting framework
- Manage month-end close activities, including journals, reconciliations and analysis
- Assist in the preparation of statutory and internal financial reports
- Provide insights on accounting treatment and financial reporting impacts
- Partner with stakeholders across finance, business and technology teams




- Support external audit requirements and data requests
- Contribute to process improvements and reporting enhancements

About You

- CA/CPA qualified
- Proven experience in financial reporting and accounting standards
- Strong understanding of general ledger and financial close processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Highly organised with solid attention to detail
- Financial Services experience preffered
