Disability Support Worker South Eastern Suburbs

BLUE LOTUS CARE is a local, family-owned business. Our home care and nursing services have expanded rapidly so we are looking for more dedicated staff to join our team. We are an NDIS registered provider. Our office is a small office, with friendly faces and very supportive- with the definition of working together as a team! Every day we like to make a difference in someone's life and go above and beyond.

We are currently seeking male support workers who are confident driving a wheelchair-accessible van.

We also have opportunities available for Sri Lankan male support workers.

All available shifts are afternoon/evening (PM) shifts and in Cranbourne Victoria.

Qualifications & experience

- Must have 6-12 months experience is necessary




- Minimum of Certificate IV in disability care or equivalent
- Working with Children check
- First Aid & CPR
- Full comprehensive vehicle insurance (necessary)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Tasks & responsibilities

- Personal care (shower, toileting and personal hygiene assistance)
- Administer Medication
- Meal preparation (assist in cooking food)
- Household task (prepare bed and light cleaning)
- Assistance with Community access & Recreational Activities
- Manual handling and/or use of equipment and wheelchair
- Transportation
- Community Access.
- Easy to handle with personal life
- Positive working setting and supportive team.
