Female Disability Support Workers – Immediate Start | Aspley to Caboolture Area

We are currently seeking experienced Female Disability Support Workers for immediate starts across the North Brisbane and Moreton Bay region, including Aspley, North Lakes, Mango Hill, Deception Bay, Morayfield, Caboolture and surrounding areas.
We have 4–5 positions availableand a range of shifts ready to be filled. This role is best suited to workers who have strong experience in mental health support, complex behaviours, de-escalation, personal care, and participant‑centred support.
Applicants must have all mandatory NDIS compliance documents and a valid Australian driver licence.
About the Role
We are looking for reliable, confident and professional Female Disability Support Workers to support NDIS participants with daily living, community access, personal care, emotional regulation, and behaviour support needs.
The role requires workers who can remain calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and follow participant support plans and workplace procedures. Experience supporting participants with mental health needs and complex presentationsis essential.

Location
Shifts are available across the North Brisbane to Moreton Bay corridor, including:
Aspley, Carseldine, Bald Hills, Bracken Ridge, Strathpine, Petrie, Kallangur, North Lakes, Mango Hill, Deception Bay, Morayfield, Caboolture and nearby areas.
Applicants living close to these areas will be highly regarded.
Available Positions
We are currently looking to fill approximately 4–5 Female Disability Support Worker positions.
There are multiple shifts available, including weekdays, weekends, mornings, afternoons,
evenings and sleepover shifts, depending on participant needs and worker availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Living Support: Supporting participants with routines, household tasks, meal preparation and personal goals.
- Personal Care: Providing respectful personal care support where required.
- Mental Health Support: Supporting participants with psychosocial and mental health‑related support needs.
- De-escalation: Using calm communication and appropriate de-escalation strategies during periods of distress.
- Community Access: Supporting appointments, shopping, activities and community participation.
- Behaviour Support: Following behaviour support plans, participant profiles and risk management strategies.
- Documentation: Completing accurate shift notes, incident reports and communication records.
- Safety and Compliance: Following NDIS requirements, duty of care, privacy, infection control and workplace policies.
Essential Requirements

- Female Support Worker: Female applicants required due to participant personal care and support needs.
- Mental Health Experience: Experience supporting participants with mental health support needs is essential.
- De-escalation Skills: Must be confident supporting participants during distress, emotional escalation or challenging situations.
- Disability Support Experience:
Previous experience as a Disability Support Worker, Mental Health Support Worker, Personal Care Worker or similar role.
- Communication Skills: Clear spoken and written English is required for participant communication, shift notes and incident reporting.
- Australian Driver Licence: A valid Australian driver licence is mandatory.
- Reliable Vehicle: Access to a reliable vehicle is required.
- NDIS Compliance Documents: Applicants must hold or be able to provide all mandatory compliance documents.
- Availability: Must be available for immediate start and flexible across a range of shifts.

Highly Regarded Experience
- Mental Health Support: Supporting participants with psychosocial disability, emotional distress or complex mental health needs.
- Complex Behaviours: Experience working with participants who may present with challenging behaviours.
- De-escalation: Ability to remain calm, skilled and consistent during difficult situations.
- SIL / In-home Support: Experience working in supported independent living or home‑based support environments.
- Personal Care: Confident and respectful personal care support.
- Behaviour Support Plans: Ability to follow participant plans, routines, strategies and escalation procedures.
- Incident Reporting: Confidence completing clear and accurate incident reports and shift notes.
