About The Role

The Old Clare Hotel in Chippendale, part of EVT's Ode Hotels collection, is looking for a Part-Time Storesperson to join our team. You'll manage the receiving, storing and dispatching of all goods coming into this heritage-listed boutique hotel, keeping our loading dock and storage areas clean, safe and organised. It's a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in accuracy and enjoys being part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, check and store deliveries, making sure goods match orders and invoices
- Inspect incoming stock against the hotel's quality standards
- Accurately record all goods received and issue stock to departments as requisitioned
- Dispatch goods efficiently and keep accurate records of movements




- Keep the loading dock and storage areas clean, tidy and secure at all times
- Take part in monthly stocktakes
- Follow all hotel policies, procedures and workplace health and safety guidelines
- Support the wider team with other duties as directed by the stores manager or cost controller

What You’ll Bring

- Previous experience as a stores or warehouse person.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with stock and paperwork
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage physical stock efficiently
- A safety-first mindset, particularly around manual handling and loading dock operations
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking direction from stakeholders
- Reliable, punctual and able to meet the physical demands of the role
- Prior experience in stores, warehousing or hospitality supply chain is an advantage
- A genuine focus on guest and internal customer service
