Peninsula Private Hospital is looking to employ a Food Services Assistant/Cook to join their busy catering department. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team setting that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.

Food Services Assistant/Cook responsibilities

- Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
- Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
- Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards
- Cook and prepare patient meals, catering to their dietary requirements
- Experience in a hospital environment or hospitality role, where you have provided services that support high-quality food services for patients, customers and staff
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Selection Criteria

- Current Food Processing Certificate (working towards or willing to attain)
- Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services
- Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work
