Role Description
We’re looking for a reliable Event Host for a one-off event in Melbourne. This standalone role focuses on providing basic on-the-day event support.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and open the event
- Close the event and thank attendees
- Facilitate audience Q&A; by prompting for questions
- Greet and direct guests, and assist with basic enquiries
- Help keep the event running to schedule
Qualifications
- Strong public speaking and communication skills
- Previous event hosting or similar experience preferred
- Ability to follow a run sheet and take direction on the day
- Professional, punctual, and confident presenting to a group
