Position Title: Architectural Draftsperson

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsperson to join ourdynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detaileddrawings and plans that translate conceptual designs into practical scaffoldingsolutions. This role requires close collaboration with architects, constructionmanagers, and clients to ensure compliance with specifications, regulations, andindustry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop detailed drawings and plans based on architects' concepts and clientrequirements.
- Interpret and apply relevant building codes, regulations, and standards to ensurecompliance.
- Prepare preliminary sketches, working drawings, and specifications forscaffolding projects.
- Coordinate with construction managers, architects, and surveyors to plan andorganize project workflows.




- Inspect work and materials for compliance with specifications and qualitystandards.
- Calculate costs and estimate time scales for project completion.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify designs.
- Maintain accurate records of designs, revisions, and project documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Diploma or higher qualification in Architectural Drafting or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Architectural Draftsperson, preferably within thescaffolding or construction industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with teammembers and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-pacedenvironment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Desirable Attributes:

- Experience in scaffolding design and familiarity with various scaffolding systems.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices related to working atheights.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt designs to meet unique projectchallenges.
