Queensland owned and operated, Joyprint makes custom signage for showrooms, sales displays, and major property developments across South East Queensland. We work with property developers, government departments, and marketing agencies, and we've put our work on some of the biggest projects in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and the Sunshine Coast.

25+ years in the industry. QBCC licensed, so we can tender on large-scale projects. Display suites, building wraps, timber hoarding, and jumpform signage on high-rise cores - variety is the job.

The Role

We're hiring a Prepress Operator to join our studio in the Redlands.

This is a computer-first role. If you are fast and accurate in Adobe and you like getting files right, this is the seat for you.

Our clients are established marketing and design agencies who supply skilled artwork. Your job is turning that artwork into something that prints perfectly at twenty metres wide: setting panels out to size, placing logos, positioning QR codes, checking resolution, and building the proof that goes back to the client for approval.

You will learn the production side with us.

Studio-based. Small, tight team. Immediate start.

How we work

We built our own AI-powered project management and quoting system in-house, and we run the whole business on it. No paper job bags, no spreadsheet quoting - and whoever takes this seat gets a real say in where it goes next.

Day-to-day

- File prep and artwork set-out for large-format production

- Scaling and laying artwork out to real-world dimensions - hoarding panels, building wraps, display suite fitouts

- Building production proofs and sending them to clients for approval





- Checking supplied artwork for resolution, colour and print-readiness, and going back to the agency when it isn't right

- Talking to clients and suppliers by phone and email

- Building quotes in our own quoting system and setting jobs up

- Hands-on help in the workshop when we're flat out

What you'll bring

- Strong, confident Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. InDesign a plus.

- You work quickly and accurately on a computer all day - this is the core of the job.

- Comfortable with real-world measurements and scale: millimetres, ratios, setting a file out to size.

- High accuracy. Small mistakes cost real money in this trade - a wrong measurement is a reprint.

- Able to juggle several jobs at once without losing the detail.

- Happy to pick up tools and lift when the workshop needs it.

- Driver's licence.

- Legal right to work in Australia.

Nice to have, not essential

- RIP software knowledge

- Large-format printers, plotters, laminators, mounting tables

- Video, photography or web - we do our own marketing in-house
