Our Mount Magnet Mining (MMG) operations include multiple open pit, underground, and satellite sites with a projected 17-year mine life. The Checkers processing plant at Mt Magnet is currently undergoing a A$223M expansion and upgrade to an initial 4.3Mtpa capacity, with construction expected to be completed in the September 2027 quarter.

The Role

As a Process Operator, you’ll be at the heart of the gold processing plant’s daily operations - keeping circuits running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You’ll monitor and control key processing areas, carry out hands-on tasks across the plant, and play a vital role in maintaining production performance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Monitor, control, and operate processing circuits including crushing, grinding, CIL, gravity, electrowinning, gold room, TSF, and water systems.
- Perform tank density checks, sampling, equipment monitoring, and support gold room elution and stripping.
- Achieve production targets through efficient resource use, reagent optimisation, and plant performance reviews.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards and collect accurate operational data for daily reporting.
- Conduct safety and equipment inspections, work closely with metallurgy and maintenance teams, and complete corrective actions as needed.




- Follow company values, policies, and SOPs, and actively identify and report hazards in line with HSE requirements.

About You You’re a safety‑focused and reliable Process Operator who enjoys working in a fast‑paced production style environment. You bring a practical skillset and positive communication skills, and work effectively within a team environment. You’re comfortable with tasks both outside on the plant as well as in a control room or crusher operating, ideally have some experience using plant monitoring systems.

You are self-motivated and will be committed to keeping high standards of safety and housekeeping around the plant and mill.

You bring to the role:

- Mechanically minded and practical, with a genuine interest in plant and processing - you may have previously worked in a trade, mining, agriculture, or similar hands-on background.
- A safe, proactive approach to work, with a willingness to learn crushing, grinding, and leaching processes on the job.
- Great communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team.
- Skid-steer, Bobcat, EWP, or Telehandler experience is desirable.
- Current "C" Class WA driver's licence.
