About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and capable procurement supervisor to oversee purchasing operations, drive supplier performance, and deliver cost-effective procurement solutions. Reporting to the supply chain manager, you will lead procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, support inventory planning, and develop a high-performing team. This is a full-time role based at our Wyong site on the Central Coast of NSW. Key Responsibilities:
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all WHS requirements and company safety standards.
Lead day-to-day procurement operations, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and inventory planning to ensure the timely supply of goods and services.
Ensure procurement and import/export trade compliance activities meet company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor, analyze, and report on procurement performance, including supplier performance, cost savings, contract compliance, sustainability, and procurement metrics.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers through RFQ/RFP processes to achieve best value outcomes.
Build and maintain strong direct and indirect supplier relationships with regular meetings; manage supplier contracts and records in Oracle; and identify alternative sourcing opportunities.
Analyze spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and negotiate favorable commercial terms to support business objectives.
Lead, develop, and motivate a team of two direct reports.
Collaborate with Operations, Warehousing, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, and key stakeholders across the Australian business and the APAC procurement group.
Support the Supply Chain Manager while driving continuous improvement across procurement processes and systems About You:
5 years' experience in a purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or related role, with demonstrated experience using MRP systems within an ERP environment.
Tertiary qualification in business, supply chain, procurement, or a related discipline; APICS certification highly regarded.
Experience leading, motivating, and developing a team of direct reports.
Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to achieve positive commercial outcomes.
Thorough understanding of contract management principles and import/export trade compliance requirements.
Proven ability to monitor, communicate,
and manage supplier on-time delivery (OTD) performance and overdue order backlogs.
Results-oriented with exceptional attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to analyze complex issues, gather and interpret data, identify root causes, and draw well-reasoned conclusions.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
Highly motivated, organized, and self-driven, with excellent time management and prioritization skills. Why Us?
