Product Development Manager | Energy Solutions

As the business continues to expand, they're looking for a Product Development Manager to help build, launch and embed current products and services that create genuine value for customers.

This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who enjoys taking an idea, bringing the right people together and seeing it through to successful implementation.

While you'll contribute to the commercial thinking behind new initiatives, the primary focus is on delivery, execution and making things happen.

The Opportunity

Working closely with senior leaders across the business, you'll help turn new ideas into real customer solutions.

One project might involve launching a new energy service through a strategic partner. Another could involve introducing a new customer offering, improving an existing service, or embedding a new solution into the business.

You'll coordinate stakeholders, build delivery plans, remove roadblocks and ensure projects are delivered successfully from concept through to launch.

This isn't a traditional software Product Manager role focused on managing a backlog or writing user stories. Instead, you'll own the delivery of new products and services across multiple business functions, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead new products, services and business initiatives from concept through to successful implementation.




- Work closely with stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Customer Success, Technology, Marketing and Leadership to turn ideas into deliverable solutions.
- Identify new opportunities, assess customer needs and contribute to the commercial assessment of new products and services.
- Help shape business cases, delivery plans and recommendations for new initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery.
- Break large initiatives into manageable workstreams, keeping projects moving by managing timelines, stakeholders, risks and dependencies.
- Ensure new products and services are operationally viable, scalable and successfully embedded into business processes and customer journeys.
- Monitor outcomes after launch and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

- Experience or a solid understanding of the energy/utilities space
- Experience delivering new products, services or business initiatives from concept through to implementation.
- A proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, build alignment and keep complex initiatives moving.
- Experience working across different business functions to bring new ideas to life.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity.
- Experience working with external partners, suppliers or third parties to deliver successful outcomes.
- Commercial awareness, with the ability to contribute to business cases, assess opportunities and balance customer value with business objectives.
- A hands-on, pragmatic approach and the confidence to take ownership, solve problems and make things happen.
