Engagement: Permanent

Compensation: $220,000 - $240,000

What you'll do

- Develop and implement security strategies to protect applications and data.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on security best practices and compliance requirements.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in application security or related fields.




- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as OWASP, NIST, or ISO 27001.
- Experience with cloud security, particularly in AWS or Azure environments.
- Proficiency in security testing tools and methodologies.
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
- Experience in threat modeling and risk assessment.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.

Skills & tools

- Proficient in security testing tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, IAST).
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with container security and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of network security principles and practices.
