Speech Pathologist - flexible, contract or employee

We are searching for an experienced speech pathologist who sees beyond the restrictions of the funding to create truly person centred supports. Someone who is willing to learn, grow and partner with the business, the people we support and their wider teams (informal and formal). Someone who is passionate and keen to be present and make a difference.

About you:

over 2 years experience

have a passion for speech pathology adult services

able to travel

We support adults (neurodevelopment and neuroacquired) in the community across the East and South-East of Melbourne with ever expanding reach. Funding bodies include NDIS and Support at home with occasional private clients.

Current caseload:

Currently Altus Therapy has built a robust presence in the MND space and this has expanded further into complex and high intensity supports. We have a high percentage of clients seeking AAC supports from talking buttons and visual schedules through to eye gaze and environmental control.



Aside from AAC we also support communication, swallowing and secretion management.

A senior clinician with over 17 years experience - having worked across multiple funding bodies, public and private health, community health, HACC funding (the time before CHSP and NDIS)

Extensive, strong relationships with support co-ordinators and AT suppliers - we see a lot of complex clients, often as a second opinion request
