Blk&Whyte; has recently reopened its doors after relocating to Seddon, and we're looking for an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team and be part of an exciting new restaurant journey.

We need your help leading and building a positive, supportive, and passionate team where great hospitality, exceptional coffee, teamwork, and creating memorable guest experiences are at the heart of everything we do.

We're looking for someone who genuinely loves hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys connecting and leading the team. If you're an experienced barista who is equally confident on the floor, behind the bar, welcoming guests with a smile, and leading the team, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

This is a hands-on front of house supervisor position where no two shifts are the same. You'll play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while delivering outstanding service from the moment guests arrive until they leave.

You'll be responsible for preparing quality coffee, providing exceptional table service, assisting behind the bar, and helping ensure the restaurant runs smoothly throughout each shift and in the absence of the Manager.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare consistently high-quality coffee and espresso beverages
- Welcome and seat guests with a friendly and professional approach
- Deliver exceptional table service and build positive relationships with guests
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Assist with bartending and beverage service
- Day-to-day management of the front of house during service




- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and food safety
- Opening and closing duties
- Help create a positive, supportive team culture

About You

The successful candidate will:

- Have solid barista experience and be confident working independently on the coffee machine
- Have previous front of house experience in a busy café or restaurant
- Be confident with waitressing and delivering exceptional customer service
- Have bartending experience or be willing to learn
- Currently hold or be willing to obtain an RSA certificate
- Be energetic, reliable, and well-presented
- Thrive in a fast-paced team environment
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Take pride in creating memorable guest experiences
- Have a positive, can-do attitude and be willing to jump in wherever needed

This is a part-time position offering up to 30 hours per week, with availability required on:
