Forklift Operator – Cool Room Environment

Hussey & Co., established in 1975, is a leading producer of Australia’s premium gourmet baby leaf salad mixes. We are currently seeking two reliable and proactive Forklift Operators to join our team. These positions require individuals who can work efficiently, adapt quickly, and maintain a high standard of performance in a cool room environment.

Reporting to: Logistics Manager Location: Sommerville, Victoria 3912

Available Position

Shift

Start times between 8am-11am

Shifts will vary between 8hr to 12hrs

Key Responsibilities

- Receiving and dispatch of goods
- Identifying, organising, and handling stock
- Pallet stacking and truck loading
- Completing all required dispatch documentation
- Communicating effectively with internal team members

Mandatory Requirements





- Fluent English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Valid forklift licence
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and follow direction
- Positive and helpful attitude
- Punctual and reliable
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks
- Ability to work adaptable shifts
- Basic computer literacy
