About Us

We are a well-established boutique accounting firm located in the heart of Melbourne CBD. Our firm supports a diverse range of clients, including small to medium-sized enterprises, professionals, and growing businesses. As a small team, we pride ourselves on providing personalised service to our clients and hands-on mentoring to our staff.

We are now looking for a motivated Graduate / Junior Accountant to join our team and grow their career in public practice.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or junior accountant to gain strong hands-on experience in accounting and tax compliance within a public practice environment. You will work directly with senior accountants, manager and partners, receiving strong support and training.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparation of individual, company, trust, and partnership tax returns
- BAS and IAS preparation
- Assisting with financial statements and management reports
- Liaising with clients and the ATO
- General accounting and administrative support




- Exposure to advisory and business services work as skills develop

About You

We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a small team environment.

You will ideally have:

- A degree in Accounting
- Up to 1 year experience in accounting or a related field (Graduates are also welcome to apply)
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate professionally in Mandarin (spoken and written) as the role involves supporting Mandarin-speaking clients
- Good attention to detail and time management
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Solid command of Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Australian working rights
