About the Role

Our team services Barangaroo seven days a week, with shifts available between 6:00am and 11:00pm.

We are urgently seeking cleaners available for afternoon and evening shifts, typically commencing at 2:00pm or 3:00pm, with finishes up to 11:00pm.

For the right candidate, we may also be able to accommodate morning and daytime shifts.

Key Responsibilities

- Litter collection and removal throughout outdoor public areas

- Emptying and maintaining public waste bins

- Cleaning and presentation of outdoor furniture and public spaces

- Cleaning and maintaining public amenities and toilets

- Monitoring site presentation and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns

- Following safety procedures and site requirements at all times

- Delivering a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation across the precinct

What We're Looking For

We're looking for people who:





- Have at least 6 months previous cleaning experience

- Are comfortable walking for extended periods and working outdoors

- Can work independently once trained

- Have a friendly, positive and professional attitude

- Have a reasonable standard of spoken English for communication and safety purposes

- Hold valid working rights in Australia

- Have (or are willing to obtain) a National Police Check

Highly Regarded

While not essential, the following experience will be viewed favourably:

- Australian or international driver's licence

- Experience operating cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, pressure washers or blowers

- Experience working with minimal supervision

- Experience maintaining outdoor public spaces, parks or large public venues

Position Details

- Part-time role

- Up to 4 shifts per week (7.6 hours per shift)

- Suitable for visa holders (up to 24 hours per week available)

- Shifts available across mornings, afternoons and evenings

- No heavy lifting required
