UNDERGROUND PASTE CREW

Fosterville Gold Mine invites suitably experienced individuals to apply for the position of Underground Paste Crew. The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for the installation, maintenance and works of underground Paste Fill infrastructure including reticulation lines, wall installations, pumping infrastructure and pipework.

Reporting to the Paste & Projects Supervisor, your duties will include:

- Ensuring paste walls, paste reticulation pipework, relevant instrumentation, compressed air and water, ventilation infrastructure and dewatering systems are installed on time and according to specifications.
- Safely operate machines, vehicles and other equipment to achieve the required tasks.
- Other mining and project tasks as directed by the Paste and Project Supervisor.





The successful candidate should possess the following:

- Experience in the construction and installation of ventilation walls, paste walls, paste pipe installation and underground infrastructure
- Previous experience working underground with paste fill in a Paste Crew or Service Crew role is highly desirable
- Airleg experience is desirable
- It is highly desirable if you hold an Australian recognised Boilermaker qualification
- The roster for this residential position will be 7/7 roster day and night shift.
- A competitive rate will be offered in line with the relevant classification contained in the Fosterville Enterprise Agreement 2021.
- A medical assessment, national crime check, and reference checks will all form part of the recruitment process.
