BHT Logistics is a family-owned refrigerated transport company based in Bundaberg. Operating a modern and well-maintained fleet, we provide reliable transport solutions throughout the region and are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Local HC/MC Truck Driver to join our team.

About the Role

This role involves local pickups and deliveries throughout the Bundaberg region, working closely with growers, customers, and our operations team. Weekend work will be required as part of the position, so flexibility and reliability are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Local pickups and deliveries throughout the Bundaberg region

Loading and unloading freight using forklifts

Communicating professionally with growers, customers, and management

Completing required paperwork and delivery documentation

Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

Maintaining a high standard of presentation and care for company vehicles and equipment

Skills & Experience Required

Current HC or MC Truck Licence





Current Forklift Licence (essential)

Experience operating refrigerated trailers preferred

Good understanding of transport safety requirements and Chain of Responsibility obligations

Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks when required

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Strong communication and customer service skills

Willingness to work weekends as required

Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
